Onsite Medical Coverage
Chalise's on field experiences is as diverse as from low risk sports to high risk sports such as ice hockey, American football, the sporting disciplines from providing onsite care for sports such as tennis, badminton, rugby, volleyball, football, judo, netball, track & field, here on the island and to ice hockey, dance, american football, swimming, water polo, basketball, gymnastics and fencing.
If you are a Sports club, or a national association or an executive company looking to host a sports event or fun day – sometimes figuring out the details of first aid or therapy coverage maybe taxing however Active Care Services is especially keen on ensuring immediate professional care of acute injuries by providing premiere quality first aid and therapy services form the beginning to the end.

THERAPY COVERAGE
Therapy coverage can entail but not limited to purely massage therapy services or athletic therapy services or both dependent on the event from track & fields to marathons to fun days. Provison of onsite care ential:
- Pre event taping & support bandaging
- Pre event massage (stretching as necessary)
- Injury assessment and management of acute injuries
- Fracture management
FOR VISITING TEAMS OR ATHLETES: Active Care Services is keen on providing care for local and visiting teams, clubs or athletes coming to Barbados for a little "sun, sand, sea and sport", we have enclosed your request for therapy coverage form and the necessary information for you to complete.
SPORT EVENT ACTION PLANNING
If you or your organisation have intentions of hosting an event (sport or non-sport), and you need advice in terms of medical aspect for coverage, or management of onsite injuries ACS does the job for you - provides consultation for events to be hosted and aspects of planning regarding medical needs, number of medical sites, number of personnel, type of personnel and protocol in case an emergency occurs.
PROVISION OF FIRST AID/ TRAINING KITS
For coaches or schools, or clubs needing more than just a regular first aid kit, but rather one that can meet the needs of the sports environment. ACS provides pre package kits, so you don’t have to work where to find this product or another – one stop for you.
FIRST AID SERVICES
Provision of onsite care for your practices, games, musical or dance or shows. Active Care Services practitioners are either certified by the Barbados Red Cross or the Heart Foundation of Barbados, they are therapists, doctors or EMT's.
First aid includes:
- Management of cuts, abrasion, blisters
- Fracture management
- Airway management
